Got a stubborn splinter lodged into your finger? There are a number of ways you can remove it easily using materials found around your home. Elmer's glue, banana peels, eggshells, potatoes, and baking soda are all great at painlessly extracting those tiny pieces of wood, glass, or other material.

To see how those methods work, check out my previous post, 9 DIY Ways to Painlessly Remove Splinters. If for some reason none of those techniques did the trick for you, I have 9 more tips you can try to get that annoying splinter out without resorting to tweezers or other more cringe-inducing methods.

You can use bacon fat, essential oils, hydrogen peroxide, Epsom salt, and other pain-free methods that only require time and patience after application.

As I've mentioned before, don't forget to thoroughly clean the affected area with soap and water, and then dry with a towel afterwards, before attempting any of the techniques below or from my original guide.
